Measuring the Change Gap: Survey Summary

At its core change management is the act of proactively managing change and minimizing the resistance to organizational change through a set of structured processes or set of approaches to transition employees, teams, and/or an entire organization to a desired future state.

In October of 2018 APQC conducted a survey and collected responses from 197 participants to get a greater understanding of the trends in the common practices and effectiveness of key change management components, including:

  • engagement,
  • communication,
  • training,
  • organizational culture, and
  • rewards and recognition.
