Total IT Cost, Excluding Depreciation/Amortization, Per IT FTE Function

The measure of Total IT cost, excluding depreciation/ amortization, per IT function entity employee is one way to evaluate the cost of the IT function. This measure depicts total IT cost (personnel, technology/systems, outsourcing, overhead, and other cost) normalized by the number of IT function FTEs. This article explains this measure and presents data from APQC’s Open Standards Benchmarking® in Information Technology Organization Performance assessment.
