Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is a global health nonprofit organization that works with leaders, health managers, and communities in low- and middle-income countries to build stronger health systems for greater health impact. With headquarters in Medford, Mass. and Arlington, Va. and a global workforce of 2,000 employees, MSH works with governments, donors, nongovernmental organizations, the private sector, and health agencies to respond to health problems such as HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, and reproductive, maternal, and child health. 

This case study details how Management Sciences for Health used a full-scale assessment and analysis to refine its communities of practice to support the organization’s technical learning goals.
