The best-practice organizations in APQC’s Next-Generation Communities of Practice research use their communities to facilitate collaboration across geographic locations, thus strengthening relationships between global teams and alleviating fragmentation in supply chains. This article reviews the organizations’ approaches and offers six tips for engaging global supply chain teams in communities of practice.
