In February 2018, APQC spoke with Claus Buus Søgaard about setting up a robotic process automation (RPA) program at Arla Foods. Søgaard is a Senior Project Manager at Arla Foods and has 18 years of experience at the organization. Arla Foods’ robotic process automation journey began in 2016, when the organization successfully implemented several tools for optimizing month-end procedures. These tools included workflow automations that were like RPA, which led the organization to explore potential options and vendors for RPA.
