Communities of Practice Need Defined Roles and Responsibilities

All the best-practice organizations featured in APQC’s 2017 Next-Generation Communities of Practice study have explicit roles for community support. This article summarizes statistical and best practices research on community leaders and other community support roles. It also offers case examples from Syngenta, Schlumberger, and Medtronic that show how best-practice organizations distribute community responsibilities.
