In 2016, CEMEX started applying design thinking as part of its digitalization strategy. Like many organizations CEMEX was exploring how to use design thinking to identify user-focused solutions to internal and external challenges. The organization employs the methodology to innovate and improve productivity in areas such as supply chain, HR, and health and safety.

This case study explores how CEMEX as a global organization leverages design thinking to analyze both customer journeys and employee experiences across different locations.
