How NASA Deals with Knowledge Loss Linked to an Aging Work Force

The U.S. government's National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) was among five best-practice organizations examined in APQC's Best Practices Study Using Knowledge: Advances in Expertise Location and Social Networking. This article describes the challenges that NASA is facing with regard to work force demographics and the steps the agency is taking to mitigate knowledge loss.
