Part of APQC’s Workforce Planning Toolkit, this worksheet supports the completion of step four in the workforce planning framework: Conduct Gap Analysis. The objective of this step is to identify discrepancies between talent demand and supply and assign a priority level for addressing each discrepancy. Use the information gleaned from step two and step three of the workforce planning framework to identify and describe critical capability gaps. Rate how important closing each gap is to achieving the business strategy and how difficult closing the gap is anticipated to be.
