Leveraging Deep Knowledge Transfer at APQC

The Knowledge Management Capability Assessment Tool (KM CAT), one of APQC's flagship assessments, rates an organization’s capabilities and maturity in knowledge management. In 2020, APQC sought to modernize the KM CAT to make it easier to complete and faster for analysts to validate and share assessment results with participants. The redesign effort triggered in-depth, peer-to-peer knowledge transfer among APQC subject matter experts as they collaborated to align their thinking and improve the assessment.
