In August of 2019, APQC spoke with Stonnington’s Raj Subramaniam about the local government’s digital transformation efforts. New compliance requirements, process inefficiencies, and disparate business systems led to constant rework and added stress for HR. In an effort to combat these challenges, the organization undertook a digital transformation to make process work compliant with new regulation and implemented an improvement project to reduce manual work, errors, and cycle times for the organization’s HR processes.
In this case study, readers will learn:

  • How the team maps process challenges to underlying causes and conditions.
  • The team’s “subscription” approach to change management.
  • How the transformation broke down organizational silos.
