Leveraging an Executive Diversity Council

An executive diversity council is a group of executives who come together to focus on and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within their organization and typically differs in its composition and scope from related bodies like geographic diversity councils or business unit diversity councils. 

In this article, APQC provides a brief overview of what executive diversity councils do, explains why they are important, and provides a list of leading practices for an effective and sustainable executive diversity council.
