Developing Capabilities for DEI

In this article, APQC reviews developing capabilities as one building block of an effective diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) program. Developing capabilities for DEI means preparing everyone to do their part towards realizing an organization’s DEI goals. This is important for an effective DEI program because everyone in the organization needs a baseline understanding of workforce DEI and how it connects to the organization’s specific DEI goals. 

After discussing this building block at a high level, APQC draws from its DEI research findings to provide detail about the journey that organizations take as they progress in this area.
