Story is much more than a tool for conveying information—It is also a powerful way for humans to connect and build trust with each other. At APQC’s 2023 conference, Laura Nespoli, a Strategic Storyteller and founder of Meshin Movement, shared insights and research about power of story for enabling individual and organizational growth. Sharing honest and vulnerable stories with others can feel challenging, but this type of storytelling leads to greater social connection that drives engagement and productivity while mitigating burnout.
