Percentage of total involuntary terminations that are middle management/specialists

This measure calculates the amount of middle management/specialists (i.e. managers with budgetary and/or supervisory responsibility who report to senior management and/or line managers) that were terminated due to permanent layoff, redundancy, termination for cause, etc. as a percentage of total involuntary terminations. As part of a set of Supplemental Information measures, it helps companies evaluate additional variables not covered elsewhere for the "manage separation" process.
