Grow Your Finance Talent For Success
In this article, APQC draws from the findings of its Future of Finance Talent study to discuss how leading organizations approach talent development for finance employees. APQC found that organizations with the best finance talent management outcomes use a wider range of development approaches than their peers and competitors. We highlight three practices in particular that are keys to success for talent development:
- Setting a formal development strategy,
- enabling learning in the flow of work, and
- offering job rotations in the business.
After describing these and other key practices for talent development, APQC provides a case study example of what they look like in practice.
