Fueling a Passion for Finance with Accounting Analyst Emily Lado

The nature of finance work is rapidly changing. As automation and other advanced technologies reduce the need for humans to complete some finance tasks, other factors—such as deeper integration into the business and increased demand for advanced projections—are accelerating the need for organizations to secure and retain skilled, agile, and engaged finance talent. To learn more about the goals, challenges, career paths, and future plans of today’s finance professionals, APQC launched the “People of Finance” series and conducted interviews with finance professionals in different roles and industries and at different career stages.
