CFO as Strategic Business Partner



As traditional finance functions are outsourced or automated, the role of the chief financial officer is evolving. The traditional accountant working in the back office to oversee funds, analyze accounts, and provide figures for management and annual financial statements is being replaced in dynamic organizations with a much more visible strategic manager. CFOs are playing a more pivotal role as communicators, strategists, and compliance supervisors.
