The Houston Texans are a popular NFL team, particularly among employees that reside in Houston, TX. As part of a long-standing employee engagement initiative, APQC held a Texans tailgating party so that employees could spend time networking with one another and share in a common interest. APQC employees spent two hours during lunch time to talk football, eat good food, and connect with their peers.
Engaged employees are involved with their organizations and are enthusiastic about their work. As a result of their engagement, they naturally act in ways to support their organizations.
