Almost every organization with a knowledge management (KM) program monitors its KM strategy, processes, tools, and approaches to determine how well KM aligns with business goals, how many employees are participating in KM, how often they are participating, and the impact knowledge sharing is having on the business. These results are used to improve tools and approaches and to justify continued/expanded funding for KM. The documents in this collection provide suggested measures to evaluate both the KM program as a whole and individual KM tools and approaches.
