Applying Process Improvement to Response to Intervention at Boone County School District

Several years ago, Boone County Schools applied process and performance management principles to its operations department to generate over a million dollars in savings. Now, the district is using these same principles to improve instruction. At APQC’s 2019 Process & Performance Management Conference, Assistant Superintendent Jason Radford shared how Boone County Schools is applying process improvement to response to intervention (RTI), a process used to identify and support students with learning and behavior needs.
