Knowledge Sharing Drives R&D Success

In late 2019, APQC conducted research into global R&D and innovation to analyze how organizations are structuring, integrating, and evaluating their global R&D organizations. This research gained insights into the current state of how respondents are managing their R&D strategy and structure, building and maintaining an integrated process, and measuring key outcomes.

Drawing from data provided by 67 valid participants representing more than 18 industries, this article highlights areas in which organizations have opportunities for growth in collaboration for R&D and innovation, discusses some of the tools that leading organizations use for collaboration, and reviews the measures these organizations track to drive better outcomes.
