In 2009, Prince George’s Public Schools needed to develop a comprehensive performance management system. As part of APQC’s 2020 PPM Online Summit – Educators’ Edition, Jennifer Martin-Johnson, performance management specialist, shared the district’s decade-long journey with performance management. She explained how the district set a baseline, established metrics, and secured buy-in to achieve performance management success while also navigating leadership turnover and changing priorities.
