Design thinking is a human-centric, solutions-based approach to problem solving. It is particularly useful for addressing complex or ill-defined problems and leveraging brainstorming and iterative prototypes and test cycles.
In December 2024, APQC surveyed participants to better understand design thinking; this article discusses how widespread its adoption is, what functions are using it, and what the pressing challenges are that organizations experienced during adoption.
