APQC's KM Competencies Gap Analysis Template is designed to help KM teams identify gaps between current-state and desired levels of core competencies. APQC recommends using the template as a group workshop activity and a jumping-off point for team discussion about strengths, weaknesses, accountabilities, and potential gaps.

This tool should be used in conjunction with APQC’s Core Competencies for Knowledge Management Teams.
