Preparing students for success after graduation does not need to come at the expense of academic excellence. In a presentation at APQC’s 2019 Process and Performance Management conference, Fort Thomas Independent Schools superintendent Karen Cheser described the creation of the district’s “Portrait of a Graduate” program, which fosters key competencies that prepare students for success in the classroom and beyond.
