How Organizations are using APQC's Process Classification Framework (PCF)-Pearson Case Study

In mid-2013, Pearson started an enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation project that focused on finance and operations. This case study explores how Pearson's global change and process excellence (GCPE) team used APQC's Process Classification FrameworkSM (PCF) as the foundation and common language to facilitate the co-development of standardized finance and operations processes with a methodology that is comprised of four stages: diagnose, design, deliver, and sustain-known at Pearson as 3DS.
