Current State of AI in Manage Employee Information and Analytics

Manage employee information and analytics is a process group that HR can sometimes overlook or shy away from in major initiatives like AI adoption, turning their attention to other HR process groups such as talent acquisition and talent development. However, a core process group such as this should be a foundation when implementing a smart technology like AI. For example, AI can be used to build and maintain a skills taxonomy for organizations, identify what skills employees possess, and make predictions such as turnover risk and subsequent recommendations to mitigate that risk.
APQC surveyed respondents who are at least piloting AI in the HR function in order to understand AI’s impact on the HR function and core HR processes. Research revealed a remarkable current state of AI in manage employee information and analytics processes. This infographic reviews research findings.
