AI in the HR Function

AI is expected to transform how HR works, what HR works on, and how HR engages with key stakeholders.
In the second half of 2024 APQC conducted an Open Standards Benchmarking® survey to find out how far along HR functions are on their AI journeys. HR leaders from across the globe and industries, representing organization of various sizes, responded to the survey, answering questions about:
- Their top objectives for using AI in HR,
- The initiatives they have undertaken to support HR's adoption of AI,
- The skills that are being developed to support AI, and
- Their assessment of progress towards key objectives for the use of AI in HR
The survey also asked questions about how and to what extent AI is being used across a variety of HR process groups including talent acquisition, talent development, talent management, and managing employee information.
This collection includes a variety of reports that summarize and provide insights on the survey findings for different industries, regions, organization sizes, and AI maturity levels. Use these reports to benchmark your AI progress against peers and to get ideas for leveraging AI in your HR function.
