Continuous improvement is a growing focus in public education. From the federal level all the way to individual classrooms, continuous improvement is at the heart of many efforts to improve student performance. Yet continuous improvement programs often fail to live up to their promises because they do not incorporate process management and improvement. 

In the PPM conference summary, Mike Perich shares how he used process and performance improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness at Montgomery County Public Schools, which was recognized with a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
