Empowering Counselors and Support Staff with ProUnitas

Too often, counselors, social workers, and other support staff are burdened with excessive paperwork and administrivia that prevents them from focusing on what really matters: being there for the students. As part of APQC’s 2020 PPM Online Summit – Educators’ Edition, Adeeb Barqawi, President and CEO of ProUnitas, shared how a large school district analyzed and addressed this challenge. The district created an online referral system that brought all its student support programs together and developed a standardized approach to receive referrals, quantify demand for services, and galvanize resources to meet the non-academic needs of every student.
