Certified Knowledge Transfer Specialist
Course Description
APQC has been a global leader in knowledge management education and research for three decades. Every organization depends on what its people know. But when that knowledge isn’t shared, it slows you down, costs you money, and puts your business at risk. Whether you're onboarding new hires, preparing for retirements, or handing off projects, this course gives you the tools to capture and transfer critical knowledge—so your team doesn’t miss a beat. Knowledge transfer is the process of converting the knowledge inside people’s heads into content, learning materials, tools, and processes that others can use, and/or directly transferring knowledge from one person to another. Knowledge Transfer isn’t extra work—it’s how work gets done right.
APQC’s three-day, virtual knowledge transfer specialist course provides a deep learning experience in how to transfer knowledge within your organization. The curriculum combines our proven methodologies, best practices, and techniques with real-world experience for fostering systematic and organic knowledge transfer. Participants will work through actual scenarios to identify, design, implement, and sustain knowledge transfer. Participants will also learn effective change management and communication strategies and walk away with skills that can be applied at the department level or in an enterprise-wide setting.
