Order-to-Cash (O2C) is the end-to-end value stream comprised of managing sales orders, processing customer credit, delivering products/services to customers, invoicing customers, and processing payments and collections. APQC’s research has found that there are many benefits to end-to-end process management of key cross-functional processes such as O2C, including providing clarity of process governance, allowing for a more balanced view of improvement, and facilitating knowledge capture and flow. 

In the Summer – Fall of 2020, APQC conducted a research effort to understand the state of O2C process transformation and how leading organizations are working to transform, manage, and improve O2C as an end-to-end value stream. This report summarizes the frequencies from the online survey.
