Transformation in Order-to-Cash at a Food and Beverage Manufacturer

Recently, APQC interviewed a large, multinational food and beverage manufacturing organization that faced the challenge of eliminating silos across languages and regional operations in order to create a standardized O2C process. While the organization is organized into regional zones, this case study is focused on the European regional business unit. APQC spoke the product owner for sales finance digital transformation about the organization’s transformation journey for the credit and collections components of O2C, and the creation of a new sales finance organization to better link together the sales and finance sides of the value stream.
