Identifying Gaps in the Employee Experience: Commute Time Comparison

Many organizations are struggling with how to retain employees as they watch their turnover rates go up and their retention rates go down. This has led organization leaders to explore the best ways to retain employees, including how to make the employee experience more positive, thus increasing employee engagement and productivity.

In the first half of 2024, APQC surveyed employees from various industries, organizational sizes, and job roles to identify what is most important to them in their employee experience and if they are receiving these things from their place of employment.

This report summarizes and provides insights after comparing responses from participants who commute-time to work is 29 minutes or less, 30-59 minutes, and 60 minutes or more. Read this report to identify areas for improvement.
