How KM Programs Respond to New Organizational Leaders

There are many reasons why KM might be fighting an uphill battle when new leadership comes into the organization. The good news is that there are actions the KM team can take now, both to prepare for potential leadership changes and swiftly react to them when they occur. Many of these actions are visible in APQC’s 2020 survey, where respondents who are struggling with leadership turnover identified the skills and techniques that will help them respond to change. This article discusses the skills and techniques most important when there are leadership changes.
