When looking to improve learning and development (L&D) or set up an L&D dashboard, organizations want to know: What are the most important learning and development (L&D) measures for us to track? While each organization should align the measures that they monitor with their key L&D objectives (which, in turn, should align with the human capital and business strategies), there are five L&D key performance indicators (KPIs) that it makes sense for every organization to track.

This article presents these top five L&D KPIs, shares median metric values for each, and provides guidance for using these KPIs as part of a broader L&D measurement strategy.
