Behavior change is a critical success factor for process improvement initiatives, but for Paul Fjelsta, far too many organizations go about the work of behavior change in the wrong ways. Defining behavior as “what we say or do” rather than beliefs or attitudes, Fjelsta described tools and methodologies that draw from cognitive science and that embed behavior directly into process work for more sustainable and effective change.
