As more organizations recognize the value of process, the demand for qualified process management professionals will continue to grow. However, finding, evaluating, and developing process talent can be challenging. Process people must be highly analytical, logical, and detail oriented in order to identify and solve process problems. But to effectively engage the business in driving process change, they also need to be “systems thinkers” who can see the bigger picture and excellent communicators who can guide diverse stakeholders toward a shared vision. This article overviews the current skillsets of process practitioners and identifies the in-demand skills process will need for future success.
