At MITRE, a nonprofit with about 8,425 employees, design thinking started to catch on in as early as 2012 as an effective way to engage stakeholders, capture requirements, and scope projects. 

This case study explores how MITRE successfully approached and implemented design thinking and the lessons they learned along the way.
