Jonathan Kraft
Manager, Open Standards Benchmarking
As the manager of APQC’s Open Standards Benchmarking® (OSB), Jonathan Kraft serves as the product owner for the world’s largest and most widely used database of process performance metrics, the OSB database, as well as the world-renowned Process Classification Framework® and MosaiQ® products.
Jonathan currently serves as the primary interface with customers, vendors, and APQC stakeholders in all phases of the data collection projects to achieve project scope, timeline, and financial goals. He plays a critical role in supporting APQC’s mission by conducting research and disseminating data and information through a variety of models.
Since joining APQC in 2012, Jonathan has contributed his talents and expertise to both the Advisory Services and Research Services groups, building the base of knowledge that APQC shares with clients. For the past several years, he has provided hands-on leadership to process improvement and knowledge management projects for APQC’s Advisory Services team, serving as an instructor for many APQC training courses on the topics of PPM and KM. Additionally, he has contributed to a robust series of benchmarking articles and overviews as part of The Value of Benchmarking collection in APQC’s Resource Library.
Jonathan was the spark behind the creation of APQC’s business excellence research agenda, creating research projects focusing on benchmarking, framework usage, and process improvement as part of his role as a research program manager. His past projects have focused on overcoming organizational resistance, organizational implementation of APQC’s Process Classification Framework®, and centralization vs. decentralization.
Before coming to APQC, Jonathan spent four years as a benchmarking practice lead for a tax consulting firm, and five years at The Hackett Group in both service delivery and business development. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from The University of Dayton’s School of Business Administration.
