Building The Future With Automation At École Hôtelière De Lausanne

In June and July of 2018, APQC spoke with Julia Aymonier, chief information officer, and Marcello D. Finocchiaro, project portfolio manager about Swiss hospitality management university, École hôtelière de Lausanne’s (EHL), efforts to set up RPA and AI programs and its development of Amelia—an AI-driven virtual coworker—to streamline and augment EHL’s interactions with students and the public. Stakeholders— which included students, faculty, and staff at EHL—were a crucial part of the process.
