Would it take a lot for you to leave your current role and go somewhere that might appreciate your skills and contributions more? Fifteen out of every 100 respondents to our Identifying Gaps in the Employee Experience survey are experiencing scenarios like this, leading them to report that they do not feel appreciated by their employer. These employees are at higher risk of turnover compared to employees who said they felt appreciated.

In this article, we highlight some of the most critical gaps in the employee experience for employees who do not feel appreciated. Any of these gaps on their own are enough to dampen engagement, and often, employees experience more than one at the same time. Addressing these gaps to help employees feel appreciated will make a significant difference for these employees and create a better employee experience for everyone.
