APQC considers scenario planning to be a useful tool for knowledge management (KM) programs. It can help a KM team understand its internal customers, their goals and challenges; determine how existing tools and approaches can be leveraged to fulfill employee needs; and identify gaps where new tools and approaches may be needed. This document contains a copy of APQC’s use case scenario template as well as three completed examples that demonstrate how the template is used.
