Spotlight on Knowledge: Communities for Enterprise Learning and Innovation
Step beyond the ordinary and into a realm where knowledge management (KM) bridges traditional boundaries. In this session, participants heard strategies and approaches using modern knowledge models that bridge silos, streamline learning, and create the cross‑functional flow today’s organizations need. The session focused on knowledge management was open to all attendees.
Communities of Practice (CoP) are one of the strongest, and often most underused, drivers of knowledge flow. In this session, Knowledge in M365-strategist, Rebecka Isaksson, got practical about what makes communities thrive: trust, purpose, belonging, and the governance and roles that keep a CoP from becoming “just another space no one visits.” We explored how thriving communities not only boost productivity, but also improve creativity, problem‑solving, innovation and overall employee wellbeing – the very things that strengthen loyalty and tenure in modern organizations.
Participants saw how high‑performing CoPs connect people, processes, and content in the flow of work to deliver business outcomes that go well beyond engagement metrics. And yes, we cut through the hype and look at how AI can surface expertise, reduce rework, and make communities smarter without losing the human connection that actually keeps people showing up.
Participants left with clear, actionable guidance you can apply immediately to strengthen and scale your communities – and support the people who make them possible.
