This session explored how simplifying work can reduce wasted time and effort while improving speed, clarity, and customer outcomes. The focus is on making everyday processes easier to navigate by reducing complexity and removing non-value-adding steps that drain energy and slow execution.

Presenters walked through a real-world example that demonstrates how process mapping was used to make work visible, identify inefficiencies, and uncover hidden sources of waste. By mapping workflows end-to-end, teams were able to see duplicated tasks, unnecessary approvals, rework loops, and delays that were limiting responsiveness and creating friction for both employees and customers.

The session highlighted how applying simplification principles led to a redesigned process with fewer handoffs, clearer ownership, and improved flow—freeing up time and capacity to focus on meaningful work and better customer support.

Participants left with a clear understanding of how reducing process complexity strengthens service delivery, improves employee engagement, and drives stronger, more sustainable outcomes by giving people back their time and energy.
