Starting with People: A Human-First Approach to Problem-Solving

Empathy and understanding are critical ingredients to success as we think about the changing needs of those who we create solutions for. At APQC's 2023 Conference, Tammy Bearden, Sr. Research Consultant at 1898 & Co., shared her experience with Human Centered Design Thinking which leverages stakeholder input to optimize solutions. She introduced a six-step process applicable across industries to improve solution benefits, ease the friction of change, and accelerate adoption of new products, systems, and services.
