How Framatome Aligns Communities of Practice with Strategy

To support the diverse set of high-skill professions within its ranks, Framatome’s knowledge management (KM) team deployed a community program that facilitates connection and knowledge sharing across the organization. Started in 2018, the program now supports more than 65 communities. Framatome is a 2024 recipient of APQC’s Excellence in Knowledge Management designation, achieving above a Level 3 maturity as measured by the Knowledge Management Assessment Diagnostic.

In this article, APQC sat down with Framatome KM Manager, Richard Aigle, and KM Program Manager, Christophe Lasne, to discuss the company’s approach to knowledge-sharing communities.
