In February 2024, APQC conducted a survey to understand the impact of current and emerging technologies on KM teams, programs, and capabilities.

This report examines the Digital/IT Function KM Reporting Structure findings on how artificial intelligence (AI) enables knowledge management (KM) and the role KM teams play in their organization’s AI strategy and deployment. Topics covered include KM's role in AI strategy and deployment, current state and use cases of AI/generative AI, organizational investment and expected benefits, and communication for technology implementations.
