This case study examines a large healthcare organization that struggled to effectively manage and leverage its data. It lacked standard data management processes, tools, and governance structures. The organization then created a supply chain data management program to standardize, align, and improve efficiency and quality in data management. As a result of its efforts, it stabilized and streamlined data governance, achieved an 85 percent reduction in business disruption, saw a 22 percent reduction in rework, and improved cycle times.
